Hi, I'm Yifei Zhu, a senior majoring in Strategic Design and Management at Parsons School of Design. My academic journey has sparked a deep passion for the intersection of design, business strategy, and sustainability, particularly within the fashion and luxury industries. Over the past few years, I have focused on understanding how design can drive innovation while fostering positive environmental and social impacts.

Throughout my time at Parsons, I have worked on various sustainable fashion projects, exploring how brands can reduce their environmental footprint and adopt more responsible production practices. These experiences have allowed me to delve into the growing importance of sustainability in fashion and how brands can balance creativity with ethical responsibility. I am particularly interested in how fashion can evolve to meet the needs of both consumers and the planet.

During my internship at a celebrity brand, I had the opportunity to contribute to creative collaborations and marketing strategies. My role centered on exploring how the brand could expand its reach while maintaining authenticity and aligning with sustainable values. This experience gave me valuable insights into the challenges and opportunities that brands face in the modern fashion landscape, especially in transitioning from fan-driven economies to long-term market success.
